Most kinship caregivers receive a child with no preparation and no help. No crib. No legal paperwork. No financial support. Many caregivers are older adults living on limited incomes. The system hands them a file, some pamphlets and moves on. 

We don’t do it that way. At High Country Caregivers, we stay.

Family for a Year

Provides the full scope of family support for twelve months. Covers legal fees, school and recreational activities, transportation needs, and meaningful touches like Mother’s Day gifts and meals for grandmothers.

Legal Fees Sponsorship

Crisis situations often require immediate legal intervention. Your gift funds custody orders that allow caregivers to enroll children in school, obtain healthcare, and keep them out of unsafe environments.

Child Counseling Sponsorship

Children healing from trauma need specialized therapeutic care. Your support covers play therapy sessions provided by licensed family therapists. These partners match or exceed the value of your gift through a sliding scale.

Emergency Needs Sponsorship

Many caregivers receive children late at night with nothing but the clothes they are wearing. Your gift provides formula, car seats, diapers, cribs, beds, basic supplies, and in some cases helps families secure larger housing.
